What Does EMFACE® Treatment Feel Like?
EMFACE® is a safe, simple, and effective treatment for toning your face and ultimately giving you a non-invasive facelift. You’ll need to arrive at your appointment with a clean face, but other than that, no preparation is necessary.
During your EMFACE® treatment, you’ll lie back on a treatment table while your care provider places applicators over the treatment areas. You won’t experience any pain during your EMFACE® treatment. You may, however, experience a warming sensation (similar to that of a hot stone massage) as well as muscle contractions. If the muscle spasms that you experience are too intense for your comfort, simply tell your doctor. They’ll be able to adjust the intensity of the EMFACE® treatment so that you’re able to relax comfortably. The treatment takes about 20 minutes from start to finish.
How Many EMFACE® Treatments Are Needed to See Results?
Your care provider will work with you to determine the appropriate number of sessions to meet your skin appearance goals. For most EMFACE® patients, four sessions are required in order to see significant changes. Your doctor will likely recommend that you take 5 to 10 days off between treatment sessions.
Is Downtime Required After an EMFACE® Treatment?
Unlike many other facial treatments, you’ll be able to resume your normal activities immediately following an EMFACE® treatment. Even though you’ll be able to notice some results immediately, you will not have any irritation or swelling following your treatment.
